Studies have found out that routine dental care may protect against severe covid complications, The patient should continue routine dental appointments in order to achieve oral hygiene interventions gum or periodontal and dental treatments which have the potential to decrease the bacterial load and immunity and systemic inflamatory response thereby decreasing the severity and risk associated to covid.

Dentist need to treat and work in mouth area that can potentially transmit the infection or virus in mouth, teeth band around nose, these areas are unavoidable during the dental treatment so by taking all methods of precautions such as wearing a mask and shield, use gloves and frequent hand wash and mouth wash against covid.
